I'd like to see a McLaren 1-2 on the grid. GO KIMI !!
Hopefully we will learn much about the recent problems from the driver and others at Test Day and things will be much better. Carol
If im not mistaken with this new qualifying rule cant ferrari now add or subtract gas and make adjustments to the car that they couldnt do if they were in the final 10? If so they are planning something for a wet race tomorrow, if that is a possibility.
Way to Jenson - POLE with Fisi second Promises to be a most interesting race - Kimi needs to slingshot past Alonso - oh well, I like to draw diagrams and draw start possibilities. JPM could have had the pole - oh well . . I guess qualifying will eventually be shown on Speed
woohooo, Button in pole. That's cool. On the other hand ... does Ide even have a driving license? Crap, Honda should bring a Ridgeline with off-road tires for him to drive around, next time, it'll be better suited to his erratic driving "line". edit - oh yeah, and JPM's save was insane ... I dunno if it's sheer luck or actually a good save, but damn I saw him smacking the wall straight on for a split second ...
Well that was entertaining. Disaster for Ferrari. V8 Supercar race is about to begin. Warmup lap has been delayed while Massa's wrecked Ferrari is transported on a flat bed...
I know someone else mentioned it, but since MS placed 11 that mean's he's allowed to add fuel and set up his car before the race unlike the 10 cars in front of him correct?
Yes, but only 9 cars in front of him since Jacques will be penalized 10 spots for an engine change. I was really pleased for Button to get pole, and with Fischella starting 2nd, I think we really have the opportunity for 5 drivers to be competing for the WC. I'd love to see Button break his duck.
Good call! How many times did he spin in total? Five? Rubens didn't look too happy. I'm not happy with the results, but at least Alonso isn't first.
Why is Ide driving a Formula 1 car? Other than his nationality I mean. Does the FIA really deem him worthy if he's 4-5 seconds slower than his teammate and 11 behind pole!
I'm rooting for Jenson tomorrow, but he's got both Renaults and McLarens right behind him. He needs to be on point tomorrow if he wants to hold them off. I'm betting 5-8 DNFs tomorrow based on seeing just about everyone off track during practice and qualifying.
sad quali for ferrari. what broke up ms's car when he left the pits? part of the car? part of the cooling system? i noticed not just massa alone seem to suffer from that...look at JPM..he was just damn lucky...i'd bet he'll be in the wall too if he went off where massa went off...hopefully, wet race tomoro, and the rain master can do somethin about it..
I agree. Would be nice for Jenson to get his first win so people would stop going on about it. I want to see Raikkonen do well too.
It's going to be a very intersting race. JB is going to have his work cut out for him tomorrow. He's got the 2 fast starting Renaults behind him. What was up with Ide spinning every other corner. That's dangerous I hope he doesn't do that too much in the race, otherwise somebody might get hurt. Now that JV drops to 19th, and MS is in 10th, does that mean he can't change anything on the car anymore or add fuel?!
