I had this guy who was obviously entranced with my car(which is by the way a Ferrari 400 GT)and wanted to race me. He wouldnt let up. He would go behind me and flash his lights(keep in mind that this is at night and its raining so hes making it even harder to see). The car was some kind of toyota, maybe a beefed up Celica. Point was it was so annoying.

Maybe he was trying to tell you that your tail lights were out.

I've seen lots of cars around here that are totally dark in the back, but I've yet to find a way to effectively communicate that to the drivers.

That could be the case, but he was reving his engine spontaneously, making it seem like he was challenging me.

If one were to generalize, you would be more or less on the mark that a greater number of Mustang drivers tend to be young, ignorant, immature and down right annoying, not to mention dangerous. But not all are like that.

Here is my Mustang, btw. 1970 Super Cobra Jet 428. All numbers matching.

didn't mean to offend you, sound kinda pissed. The 2V aluminum blocks are not the teksid blocks. the teksid ones are the only ones that I am giving large ammounts of credit due. The cooling issue Im guessing you are refering to is that the #8 cyl always goes when one does. The LDC cooling mod is a cheap fix for that problem though. And I know the heads are updated. The B heads are not the best due to the tumble port, but a P&P will outflow the 03-04 cobra/mach head in stock form. I do agree the 03-04 head is the best head they have come out with short of the FR500 head. What alum. blocks have you seen twist? Ive never seen a teksid block do that. not doubting you, just trying to learn a little more.

    Michael,

    Nice car!

I don't think this thread is focused on owners of that kind of Mustang but rather guys that own something relatively new and relatively cheap (unless you go around challenging other drivers to races...;) ).

    Regards,

    Art S.

I guess what I'm saying is that it takes two to tango. Flashing lights and revving engine could be "your lights are out" or "nice car" or "I'm starved for attention" ;)

Slapping you in the face with his driving glove -- now that's a challenge. :D

To any street racer kid. The best thing to tell them:

You can put a jet engine on a minivan and be faster then me. But you still have a minivan.
