I just didn't buy his story. I hardly thought that someone with such wealth would need to feel validated on an online chat site. And if I'm wrong....well then, so be it.
It was closed due to a misunderstanding that happened to get exacerbated due to the particular date (April Fool's). Rather then let it just get spiral into any (potential) bitterness, it was closed.
Bruce has a point - and moreover he's not a bad guy. I thought Bruce was a bit abrasive at first but I've learned he just says whats on his mind - and I do the same to him and he can take it No problems with Bruce - maybe not everone likes him because of his just-say-it persona, but hes a valued member. Regarding the Eric guy, it was pretty self-aggrandizing what he posted, but we all come from different places in life. If he's doing as well as people say, GREAT for him! Money isnt the be-all and end-all of life, and from his posts I think Eric realizes that. More power to him for enjoying his money and not being afraid to talk about it. At least thats my .02

I have no interest in being part of any little cliq(sp). I don't plan to be a regular poster here as I have nothing much to add to this forum. I just enjoy the Ferrari and other car related threads and the good natured off-topic threads. Ferrarichat has changed and I am not going to get into a debate about when and what was better, all I know is the Bruce can stir sh*t better than Allan or Gary Green every could. I am tired of it. He helps to take away so much of the enjoyment I get from this forum. Yes I could put him on the banned list but he posts so damn much, threads would stop making sense. I wish Bruce would follow my lead of if you have nothing to add don't add. If he did his post count would be about three. And as this thread is not adding any quality to FC, I think I have said my piece and I will go back into the background. Damn! I missed whatever it was Bruce does have a point about the spelling. It is annoying for everyone else reading. And before anyone goes giving him crap for using all-caps, there is a great reason for it. Honestly, I am not the most grammatically correct poster here, but it doesn't have to be that hard to avoid mistakes on every single line. Now, call me ******, but I don't think it is too much to ask.
I asked for the thread to be closed because it was 4/1 and other reasons.....I expected a follow up thread but not in this manner.
Quite frankly Neil, I think calling Bruce a c*nt, and telling him to go f*ck himself is pretty low-brow. Perhaps Bruce can sometimes be "in-your-face", but your foul language isn't any better.

From all your previous posts I saw that you are an Upstandiing guy who gives a lot back to community and helps people in need (esp during the hurricane) However,I thought this time your post was WAY out of line and was totally direspectful. well fwiw i thought some of you's were complete tossers for basing stuff on how many posts he (or anyone else) has and ignoring the opinions of others. does someone have to get involved in your post-whore pissing contests of posts that just say "go f yaself" to be in the "respected members" group? i said within the first couple posts that he was legit, i have over 5k posts, not that it means stuff-all to me, but i've seen him (and others) on other exotic car boards and spotted him right away, and tried to give an fchat welcome to someone experienced with the best cars money can buy, and who has a funny and sociable online attitude. oh well i guess i just want to be one of you boys so go f yaself

Couldnt have said it better. i dont see the need for posts like "BUT YOU A POMPOUS GUY AND NEEDS AN ARSE KICK". Gotta respectfully disagree there I dont know why bruce does caps, but lets asume its a medical condition. So that gives him permission to use all caps, and we accept that. Eric has bad spelling/grammer, so he does lots of mistakes. Isnt a poor grammar education(or possibly http://health.allrefer.com/health/disorder-of-written-expression-info.html ) something we should just get over aswell? Not everyone checks there spelling before posting, this isnt an essay! /end random moaning
