Got my first check engine light at the VIR track day yesterday. Car still seemed to run fine yesterday. This morning it hesitated for the first time when I first started it. I've had the car for 9 months, with a Tubi exhaust during that whole time. I did run 100 octane unleaded at the track for the first time.

Today I hooked up a OBDII scanner. There were no DTCs present, but there were 7 ready monitors:
    misfire
    fuel (fuel system monitor)
    comp (comprehensive components monitor)
    catalyst
sec air (secondary air system monitor)
    O2 sensor
O2 htr (O2 sensor heater monitor)

So it is basically complaining of air and fuel, but I'm not quite sure what it is trying to tell me. I'll look at the O2 sensor wires, spark plug connections, and air path tomorrow, but am posting here in case someone has seen this before and can offer a more direct debugging approach. Thanks.

This popped up a DTC after a bit more driving. The DTC was P0130 which means "O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor1)". I erased the code and drove it a few times more. The monitor faults are back and I suspect the DTC will soon follow, but it hasn't triggered yet.

I found nothing visually wrong in any wiring, so I'm thinking of replacing the O2 sensor. Would "bank1, sensor1" be the upstream (before catalyst) sensor on the driver side?

    Thanks.
