Wow, I remember expensivecar.com. It was starting to get good then it died. Does anyone know what happened?

The user number doesn't mean much of anything. As you have figured out, it is the number as you registered on the new software starting 11/2003. We were registering 1,000 users a day as the switch happened. So if you just happened to be on when the switch took place, you probably have a low number. Now your register date is a better judge as we carried some of those over manually from the old software. That still isn't 100% accurate, because several users never sent in the manual request, so show a 11/2003+ date.

    Awe shucks, thanks fellas.

I really like this place, sometimes I think a little too much. I am thankful for the new title, and the support. I would also like to thank Steve_f for complaining about me not being subscribe, thanks Steve.;)

I like helping out others with the little bit of info I know. I'm just returning the help that I got when I was a new owner. That and it's hard enough paying to keep these blasted cars on the road, so if I can help make that easier, and yes cheaper (do wear a tight arse cap :D), I'm glad to be of help.

    Thanks again guys.

    Lucky number 67.

What's amazing is the number of first 100 subscribers that have recent activity on the board. A bunch are logged in now.

10-17-03, wherever that puts me. I was stopping here occasionally from fall '01 on and joined Tom Yang's board then but didnt join Fchat until the Vintage section was incorporated.

However, you really oughta go back to the original Fchat, as some of us were on that board. Also, seems I remember the signup for this board didn't always work right, cuz I signed up, but it didn't take, and I think Rob had to reset something, which bounced me to the end of the(then) list and reset my signup number. Best I recall, I signed up for the new(current) Fchat way before 2003...but, otoh, who cares ?

We didn't go to the new software until 11/2003. No one was on before then. To get your past register date and post count updated here, you had to submit the form I had setup. Was a manual process.
