It figures, we've managed to piss off yet another car guy, and one that actually seems pretty down to earth. It's too bad, he has a hell of a car collection that I could maybe even hope to see some day as I have family in Vegas. Sometimes I hate this place.
Just my thoughts but i read the other thread and also thought "WTF" when i saw Bruces post. If Bruce says what he thinks, whether right or wrong, then good for him but I dont think a lot of respect should be given for that. I hate it when people question posters as to their legitimacy, i mean does it really matter and we all know at the end of the day its going to cause a barny amongst everyone. I dont think someones spelling should be an issue hence why i will mention it no further however from where i saw it, it was other folk that posted pictures of Erics car and money, not himself. I for one get an extreme buzz when peoples post their cars, especially the supercars of this world. Two reasons why. The first is obvious, because they are gorgeous cars (who gives a toss whether someone fits a sound system in their enzo, I dont), the second is that its nice to know that these people with fabulous amounts of wealth are right here with us and part of the community. I for one respect that but unfortunately a lot of the time it backfires. Would people rather their cars were not posted? Hell i wouldnt be on this site if it was just rant rant rant with nothing to look at. To be honest, those with extreme wealth who visit this board have the somewhat uncalled for sense to keep their lips shut and not post the vehicles in their pad. Crazy but i can see their point when things like this happen. I've seen it a million times on this board and far too often the real legit guy has to prove himself right. By this time, they are pi55ed off, leave and probably go elsewhere. I understand there are hoaxers but really i couldnt give a monkeys kahoots about them, if thats what they want to do then so be it! Matthew, The guy in the other thread may be a great guy but, he ended up sounding like a tool. 90+% of the responses were positive and the guy was still pissy. The guy has 600+ people working for him and he's pending time trying to impress people on the internet, seems odd to me. Jim G. is an interesting guy that is doing neat things but **** get thrown at him occasionally (read the 0846 thread). Fortunately, he has thick enough skin to take it and respond approriately or ignore it while conversing on f-chat. Regards, Art S.

I am truthfully disappointed in the way things happened. Eric seems like a great guy from the posts he makes on other forums. I wish some people weren't so quick to jump the gun without doing a bit of research first. If the research was done everyone would have found out that he is 100% legit. Yeah he does have a big watch, big rings, big rims on his cars, etc. but does that make him a bad person?? I agree. Bruce's post was rediculous. Eric is still in his 30's... why the hell shouldn't he live it up? There is plently of time to be conservative when you're old and senile. It's ironic that we're complaining about someone being 'obnoxious', yet doing so on "Ferrarichat" of all places.... The bottom line is Eric has not insulted anyone, he hasn't hurt anyone(except perhaps some people's fragile egos), and he's contributing to this site through his love of cars. I see no problem AT ALL.
