I just spoke with Dave. WTF? Did he REALLY get banned for using the 'P' word with 5's? What's with things around here? How about a list of words we can't use in any form? Rob: Please list so I don't get in trouble! I see examples of this all the time on the board. Why is Dave getting spanked when everyone does it once in a while?
Because some people have a hard on for him and Rob doesn't seem to care that some moderators are making FerrariChat look like it belongs to them... Moderators with gripes shouldn't be moderators... A long time ago, Rob wondered if he should hire moderators who know nothing about FerrariChat; I think that's a pretty good idea... Some of the moderators we have now are obviously not mature enough to yield responsibility on the intarweb... LOL...
It looks as though this is the road we are going down mate, stick with it mate there have been changes at F-CHAT before where people shouted and screamed but in the end it was all for the best and F-Chat became a better place but if Rob touches the bikini thread then it is war
Well, then Rob REALLY needs a wake-up call...! He lets his moderators skate around the curse filter, but not "regular" members...? EDIT: That also doesn't change what I said about some of the moderators...
He's really not screwing around about this, and I don't think it's going to matter if one's a mod or a consultant or whatever from this point.
What's the big 6.22.3.11ing deal with a few curses...? Is Rob really that dillusional...? Racism, chauvanism, pictures of half-naked women and all sorts of other stuff are okay, but profanity is not...?
Move OTT into the silver sub area and be done with this problem. Like NNO says we can have half naked women but not a curse word. This site is not intended for young children. Young children do not buy from Rob's sponsors.
Thank you... If it's all about the money now, then just think about where all that money comes from... Thousands and thousands of dollars a year - from whom...? Sponsors...? Hundreds of dollars a year from whom...? Registered members... Registered members come and do what...? Chat and buy from sponsors - hell, even I've bought from a sponsor...! More and more people patronize sponsors, more and more people come here, you can charge sponsors more and more for advertising - it's a beautiful circle of life - but banning people for cursing is just childish - especially when sexism, racism and other questionable behaviors are scattered about this place... Plus, you wouldn't have to see stupid threads like this one...
So then I can just start a thread and put "NWS!!!" in the subject title and then I can spew forth a monstrously heinous and obscene string of obscenities, right...?
