    Hell yeah.. forget that!

When I was MUCH younger, probably 13 or 14, my parents took off for the day and my punishment (for god knows what) was to do the yard. I called a yard service and paid them with my babysitting money. LOL :D

My god...how big is your yard? I pay our yard guys $100 per month for 7mos/yr plus another $300 or so for leaf cleanups, etc. I do all the fertilizing and weed control.

I've done most of the grocery shopping for 5 or 6 years, I enjoy that.

It includes plantings, redoing the annual beds, watering, chemicals, pine straw etc. Cutting down the occasional tree etc etc.

I looked it up, actually $3248 for 2004, last full year. 3.5 acres.

That's pretty decent considering my lot is 70x140, less than .25 acre, with 4000+ feet of house and other non-grass surfaces.

Actually I only have two plots of grass, each about 30 feet by 50 feet, ~2 acres is just woods, rest is bedding.
