ha good luck being a tightarse and getting a ferrari. i dunno what it is, but up until the last couple months i've been very liberal with my (what little i have) cash and never cared where it's going or who on, and it always felt like i could just go and get a ferrari if i decided to tone down some of my nightlifestyle.

the last couple months... i've been a complete cheapskate, worried about the money i spend on a hotdog... ooh i just spent $6 on that one i could have got one just down the street for $4... i mean, now that i'm counting my pennies, exotic-ownership has never felt so far away.

my vow is that when i make the jump to F or L car status, i won't be looking at the cost... it just doesn't werk for me if i'm analyzing how much it costs me to live the way i want.

 

Oh, I was only joking. I'm too nice to be a tight wad. That kindness is what bit me in the ass years ago when I got one of my settlements, though. I had the BEST friends during that time, probably because I paid for everything. Once I stopped paying and pretended to be flat broke I realized who my real friends were. Oh well, lesson learned!
