Before I started the training, I weighed 65kg. One week afterwards I weighed 3kg more, which I'm attributing to the completely changed diet (no more meal skipping). I was fully hydrated both times so it can't be that.

At this stage I'm only doing cardio 1 - 2 times a week - I want to bulk up and put on weight, not burn it away.

when i was at my peak fitness around '93-97 i was about 78kg. that was running at least 5km a day, hundreds of pushups, thousands of situps, NO drinking, NO eating within 5 hours of going to sleep... and guess what, a crummy lifestyle with no girlfriend no fun time friends and nothing to do with my time but werk out and get buffer. sure, i looked and felt GREAT, but my life sucked ass.

i'm happy i've been my fittest and fattest (103kg in 2003  ) ever, and am now content to just be healthy and feel good while having a good lifestyle.

jeeezus it's so typical how americans are never taught anything beyond what they need to know

anyone i talk to in any other country can understand kg lbs cm metres (meters  ) miles km inches oz etc.... but when you talk to a yank... sheesh, you have to spell it out.

    1 mile = 1.609km
    1 nm = 1.852km
    1 foot = 30.48cm
    1 inch = 2.54cm

    :)

I should probably remember deg. C to deg. F, litres to gallons, cm to yards, hmm, what else?

    under the sea!
    meh

    you want easy way out?

    T3/Clenbuterol

give those a run.... they'll rip you apart... but you'll be cut up like nothing.....

yeah there's stuff that'll work even better but... both are readily (legally) available as research chemicals for research purposes....

and then when you're done you'll go back to your old self because you didn't eat clean, drink water, sleep well, and train balls to the wall (ovaries to the wall for stephanie)

um, you're fergetting the BIG one here... we can't say anything to do with kilowatts because the mericans don't know what it is.

but yeah, the biggest one around here is kph to mph, i'm quite sure anyone who's native tongue is metric knows almost instantly what mph is in equivalent terms... :p

last time mentioned as such it was met with ridicule. disturbingly enough, of all the innuendo, i doubt they could have said something that was beyond me. :)

Good point. It gets a bit confusing though when there seems to be a several interpretations of "hp" (e.g. PS, CV, ch)

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horsepower

    According to Google:

    1 hp = 0.745699872 kilowatts
    1 kilowatt = 1.34102209 hp

Also conversions of torque you don't hear much about.

actually that's a good point because that's one of the few i get mixed up with... i just remember driving scud's GT2 after hearing it had 680nm of torque and realized with about 2mm of throttle that meant it was seriously fast!

i fergit what the other measurement is...

I was gonna say, it'd make a great lair for the next screen psycho.

What was it... Jeepers Creepers? Where the walls were lined with body parts?

Anyone remember that villain ("squeeze") from an early season of the X-files who ate people's livers and then hibernated for 50 years? :D

IIRC, he had an unfortunate encounter with an escalator...
