I've bought plenty of Ferrari's from Hot Wheels and have been completely satisfied with all of them (1:18 scale). The interiors arn't the greatest but for $25-$30 you really cant complain all that much.
Just got the Exoticar catalogue and they're advertising the F430 for sale. The website says nothing of a delay either.(best I can tell) What the heck, just another item they can put on their back order list to piss off customers
Don't trust the Exoticar site or the catalog. Same thing happened to the CS.. I saw it on both the site and catalog, both said available so I ordered it. After that, then comes the backorder email notification! Waited for almost a month after i got the backorder notice!
When is the 1:18th 430 spider coming out? I have 1:18th scail Murcie Roadster(orange),Zonda(red)Lambo Gallardo(yellow),F50(red),Viper SRT10(red),550 barachetta(red),hummer H1(yellow) and MB SL500(silver). I want the 430 spider to be the next one I add to my collection. Can I purchase a 1:18th Mclaren F1 in orange or yellow? That would be a good addition along with the 430 spider to add to my collection.
At least it isn't being made by Exoto, then you'd have to wait a couple of years....if it even comes out.
I'm waiting on this, as well as the release of the Diablo 6.0 which seems has been canceled. I don't know why, but that is #1 on my model cars to get list.
New & Latest update as of today for the F430 coupe is August & November for the Spyder. Just recieved an email from my sales rep @ Mattel.
You are not the only one! the 6.0 is the best looking Lambo ever made IMO, it makes no sens that no one is making it!
About a year, probably longer than that, ago i emailed AA and they told me it had run into problems. Then later received another email from them saying it was canceled. I'm sure it will make an appearance some day.

Cant wait till F430 1:18 comes out. I hope they come in Tour de France Blue, Grigio, or anthing that comes close to the real Ferrari colors...

Damnit!!!! i ordered mine a month ago. I only ordered it cause exoticar said that it was available. Now i have to wait months and exoticar already has my money!! On the bright side, my Enzo, 612 Scag and 360CS are on they're way! WOO!
Who wouldn't have the Enzo already? Scaglietti & Stradale too. ... that's what I thought and was afraid of. Exoticar collecting money for a model which isn't out yet

It's fine for a HW model....the quality of their molds has been improving as of late, adn the F430 is no exception. My only gripe is the wheels. TOO big...
I even wrote to Autoart about the Diablo 6.0. Even told them that they could just modify the mold for the GTR, put the doors, engine cover and front hood from their VT model on it and knock up the wheels and it would almost be ready to go. They didn't seem interested at all. May be we should get a petition going. On the F430 front - I just know Mattel won't re-do the wheels. That is the biggest problem with their F430 - THE WHEELS ARE TOO BIG!!!!
