But if you agree that 0828 (your pics showing 0828 in 70's are similar to Monza 1967 and 1968) was the car you saw at Monza in 1967 and the 1968 Monza's car number 7, I think the rebody was made BEFORE Tortora bought it.

Found another shot taken September 1972 during the Club Ferrari France meeting when 0828 was driven by Jean-Claude Bajol. This is the starting grid at Mas du Clos. Car on left behind blue plexi Daytona is Colin Crabbe's 410 Sport #0596 CM and the 250 GTO with UK plates TCH 101 is Harrison's #3909 GT. Those were the days!

Monza photo taken 8 September 1967 shows a Spider. Tortora bought 0828 in 1967 and had it rebodied into a Berlinetta.

Weren't they just !! The Harrisons had two 250GTOs, a 250TR, a 250MM, a 750 Monza, and a GT40 amongst others. And other people brought out their early V12s and even P4s. I recall memorable rides in 250TRs, the 1951 Mille Miglia winner, a 375MM etc. etc. Nowadays it is rare to see such wonderful cars - the cars that Ferrari built their reputation on.

Here's a shot I took at Pierre Bardinon's Mas du Clos in September 1982, showing (left to right) 5095 GT, 4725 SA and 5573 GT.

    Marcel,
was the car in the 1968 1000 km of Monza a berlinetta or a spider ???
The pic I sent doesn't show that well...
Are you sure Tortora bought 0828 in 1967 ??
Did he rent 0828 to Pianta and Finiguerra just for the Monza race ???

The car #7 in the 23 April 1968 Monza 1000 km practice was a Spider, not a Berlinetta. I agree that it is the same car as the one in the 8 September 1967 color photo I posted, note black tape on top of windscreen.
May be Tortora got 0828 not in 1967 but in 1968 only and then the case is very clear.

I love the Mas to Clos pictures! Fabulous! I would have given anything to have been there at those meetings, looks like quite an enjoyable time.

It is "Mas DU Clos", not "to". Yes, that's French.
Here are more pix taken in September 1982 during the 20th Anniversary of the 250 GTO.

Sorry, I am well aware it is Mas du Clos, that was just a slip of the fingers and a lack of proof reading a short message, thanks for the additional pics!

Car on right side in photo #1 of post #815 is 2643 GT, at the time owned by Dr. Giuseppe Lucchini of Brescia, Italy. GTO with racing stripe and yellow Wisconsin plate is 3705 GT, then owned by Brian Brunkhorst. I spent a week in that car, driving with Brian and 25 other GTOs thru France. Originally Dick Merritt was Brian's passenger in 3705 GT but after a few hours his back hurt, he wanted something more comfortable and we swapped places (I was in a 365 GTC/4 during that anniversary meeting). In between 2643 GT and 3705 GT is 4561 SA, then owned by the Hilton Bros.

Photo #2 shows in the back a blue Renault 5 Turbo, wide body.

The last two pix were taken at Moulins, shortly before Mas du Clos, during a stop. Note bra on GTO parked on right side.

enjoy to see vintage pics in Mas du Clos. good years!

i would like to know if you have Marcel some pics near circuit, the place where are stocked all cars. Or i you can t, show us the complete collection of models 1/43 ...more 1000 pieces ( "my complete collection" as said M Bardinon)

did you got some pics about:
    250MM sn 0344MM
    250TR58 sn 0728TR
    375 Plus sn 0396AM
    250MM sn 0344MM

what is your feeling, about Bardinon s collection, i mean he s a collector
or do you thing it s more conservator like Albert Obrist, if the total cars
in possesion by Bardinon (near to 70 cars) since 1960 which one do you consider like the Master piece of his museum?
Bardinon Compared to A Obrist which collection was most extrodinary?
Do you have the sn of his Enzo ?

    Thanks in advance
    Christian

Marcel, Thank you for posting all the wonderful photos of the P2/3s. It has always been my understanding that none of the P2/3s have four cam motors in them currently? I was told that prior to being sold to clients they all had twin cam 365 engines installed. The tipo number for these motors escapes me but it is not the engine in your typical 365 2+2.
