I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth.





No really, my inheritance consisted of a silver spoon (plated). Market value, about $10.

 

I was born with a gold spoon in my mouth. My dad spray painted a normal spoon. This is probably the reason why I have lead poisoning as well.....

 

I got 2 balls, decent inches in front and a last name. Depending on what I do with it, it could be worth a lot... or a lot of nothing.

 

Those be them HI CLASS bucks!

I won't get that or my trust fund money until I graduate from college with my Bachelor's Degree. Oh well, two more years.

 

I'll let ya know in 30+ years. I hope I don't have to find out what I get any sooner than that. The one plus of being an only child!

For now I just get to use my Exxon stock to buy a new car. Which I'm only taking out half for a nice down payment on my much anticipated E92.

 

Hopefully my parents don't leave me anything (if they have anything to leave). Hopefully they enjoy what the earn and saved.

It's not so appealing to me, I'm receiving it because my father died when I was 14 years old.

 

I have inherited no money, but my grandmother did a lot of painting during her her 101 years on earth. I am lucky enough to have several. the first painting is named "Psyche at the Well", from mythology (greek/roman???) and she did it at the young age of 17 (in 1918).

How much was my inheritence? Priceless.

I wish I would have been able to see my grandparents live as full of a life as your grandmother. Sadly they did before I was born, or reached my teens. My grandma is left, however, she's been in a seemingly coma type state since '94 after she suffered a major stroke.

It's great you have those paintings to hold on to.

My inheritence was perfect.....got taught to stand on my own two feet and earn whatever I wanted...better than any 7-8 figure inheritence.

To all you married deadbeats with kids, ski boats and a mortgage that DO NOT have enough life insurance:

My dad passed away leaving my mom enough money from a $25K life policy to pay off the house and his credit debt, leaving about $10K for Mom. That really sucked! Not that I wanted a dime, but it would have been nice to see my Mom with more money in the bank for her 'older age' (now 86). My Dad could have had a decent life policy when he was younger for around $50 a month. My brother and I keep my Mom in a decent car, etc. She deserved more than that.
