    WOW!!! What a beautiful day!!! Let me say thanks to Matt and Laura and all the gang on the road rally from Matts house for a great day!!! Some really cool down to earth people and some great cars!!!
    Owning an M5 I felt a little out of place, but was warmly received, sooo big THANKS for the great day guys!!!
    We had a spirited run from Matts house thru Great Falls to the Reston Town Center by 12:30pm. How about them back roads!!! Hang on!!
    We were then treated to some great food and cars!
    Anyway, thought I would post some pics, enjoy!!
    Thanks so much to FCA/MAR for allowing me to crash the party!!

    Guys this was an awwwwesome event and it was so great catching up with you all. I am amazed by the array of cars which had showed up.

    E60 M5 Welcome aboard, the drive from Dopplemax's home was absolutely the BEST I have ever been on.

    285ferrari once again I enjoyed catching up with you. Lets get Darron outta the garage and back to civilization. I wanna take you guys to Crystal City Restaurant for some surf n turf LOL!!!!!!!!

    Lebert you did a kickass job on this event. Reston I'm sure will never forget this spectacle.

    Looks like it was fun! Im glad the weather turned out to be so nice. I would have liked to join in, but my businees has not given me the opportunity to do so.

    Had a great time in Reston. Unfortunately broke down on the way home.....was cruising on 495 and heard a "pop" sound and suddenly no power...engine was fine, just a disconnect to the wheels......pulled over across three lanes to the shoulder lane and noted left CV joint/axle area covered with grease, a bit of smoke from some grease on the muffler, and axle obviously not connected right to the trans case...not sure what happened, but could not go anywhere. Called AAA and was eventually transported to FOW by Independent M/C Transport on a custom flatbed . Now need to call in am and have it repaired. Hopefully no internal damage...seems to be external to gearbox, but who knows? Thanks to my friends for stopping and hanging out with me while waiting for tow, thanks to John and Nathan for stopping and offering assistance. At least the weather was nice!

    Well I'm sorry I missed this I knew it was going to be a nice event. Though, doesn't look like you needed another red car there....lol

    Barry, what happened? You know redline is 9k right? j/k...

    I did get one but it was such a beautiful day you gotta take the top down. A gorgeous red Diablo showed up at the end. There only was 1 lambo there and it was an orange Gallardo.

    That car looked sweet..... I'm looking forward to seeing it in person. Though, I thought it was a targa top. Shows how much I know about Lambos.

    I've got to find that thread that showed the pictures.

    GREAT DAY EVERYONE!

    It was a fantastic day to get out with some old friends and new. We had a good drive over to the town center, some great cars to look at, good food and fantastic folks to share it all with. Josh got to drive an F Car for the first time, we got some beuatiful embroidered napkins from some wonderful people and I think everyone had a wonderful time. Barry, sorry to hear how your day ended, hopefully nothing fatal there.

    Laura, thank you for putting this together. It was a wonderful turnout and a perfectly placed event. Thank you too for the gift! We hope we'll see you and Robin sometime soon!

    Thank you to everyone that made it over to our place for the mini-rally. We will definitely do another longer one in the coming months.

    My first weekend spent home was the best of all of 2006 thanks to Laura and her wonderful mother! Organizing an event of that caliber is hard work. It was flawless. It was selfless. Thank you very much!

    Thanks Robbie, David K, and Barry for clueing me into the event. I haven’t been reading the event notices since 4 January. It’s so good to be home.

    Matt, the drive getting there was a hoot. Thanks for doing the route reconnaissance. I remember watching a couple of the cars going airborne over the hills. Heck, I almost went ballistic, too; I recall saying to myself: What airline is this? Hahaha. :) I enjoyed every moment of it and had a hard time erasing the grin off my ugly mug all day! I really missed driving with you dudes—fun roads, excellent people. We truly do live the good life.

    To whomever owns the orange Gallardo, a confession—I have been lusting after that vehicle (perhaps in a really sinister black on black combination) for a solid year now, including with a visit to Mecca (FoW) to look at the details. I’m worried that I’ll buy one. I purposefully tried not to walk anywhere near it yesterday so as not to be sucked in. Robbie, of course knowing my weakness, tricked me into walking passed it to get to the food and drink. Aaaaah, yeaaaah, thanks buddy. I appreciated the cold sweat. Anyway, driving home, thinking I’m free and clear of that orange beauty, guess what I see in front of me on the Dulles Toll Road. Frack me! There—you have it: my confession for Palm Sunday. :) Other than the Gallardo incident, it was an incredibly fun and relaxing day. When is the next drive?

    I’m enjoying every picture uploaded so far. More please.

    I dunno; if it weren't for those hills to slow them down, we would've been dropped by the group for sure! It was one of the most exciting drives I've ever been on. How about posting sound clips of that Stebro you had on your car? It sounded great!

    Next drive, I'd be happy to switch cars with you for a couple of miles so you can hear how it sounds.

    Thank you all for coming out and bringing your beauties it was great meeting everyone!! What a specatular display, keep sending the pics for I didn't take many at all being so busy.

    I have to admit the event went just as I envisioned even better, can't wait till next year. Somehow I need to figure out a way to do the ride and drive to event. I'm familiar with the roads you guys drove so understand the rush you must have gotten and the "air" :) Yeeee haw!

    Well good weather is upon us so keep me in the loop for upcoming events.

    Matt, That route you put together was wild. Reminded me of a roller coaster ride at Kings Dominion, only a lot better. I think I had the best spot in our train, right behind your Boxer. That thing sounded MEAN, both musical and menacing! Nice meeting all you guys ....David, I want to check out your Murci with the MS racing exhaust at the Italian drive, I love those cars! ...... Jodi, I'm looking forward to hearing that sound system when it's done! ..... Robert, Good luck on your search for a 355, although I can't cry for you since your STUCK driving that sweet M5. .... Anthony, If we drove through Ashburn at that rate of speed we'd be doing 10 years to life!..... Hope to meet more of you guys in the future!
