My dad was 18 when he bought his (on his own to with no help!) I plan to rent a house or apartment to start with but my dad may help me buy a house when I move out. Looking for something cheap and easy to maintain that I can own. Property/houses are cheap here so I can get something nice when I do.

Age 30, bought this past November. And its amazing now that we don't rent we are suddenly getting out of debt RAPIDLY. Of course theres the mortgage, but the credit cards are all paid off (except one of the wifes, but hey she loves to shop!), loan for wedding rings, one student loan left on my behalf, and her line of credit. Its an awesome feeling. Once I'm debt free (besides mortgage, won't be paying that off for awhile, INTENTIONALLY - good debt; if not sure what I mean, feel free to PM), perhaps I shall start searching out a 355???
