    very good advice and responses! thanks.

    I found a 96 spider in Denver with good potential. Major done in the past 150 miles. The owner said it was "spotless" inside and out. We'll see about that. Keeping fingers crossed.

    Make sure the PPI covers inspecting for any cracks in the headers,
    but since you've been loooking you're probably aware of this pervasive defect.

    he has a silver 355 spyder.... there now, dont know history.
