    Nice pictures.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to put a retracting gate there?

LOL. There needs to be a law that a Lambo can't come that close to the sacred land like that. I would be very embarrassed if I drove by the factory in a lambo.

I'd like to see a Ferrari truck just plow right through that.

Come on. The Ferrari and Lambo factories are like what, 10 km apart? I'm sure they see plenty of each other's cars on their grounds.

The first shot here shows the old factory gate, the second shot shows the new entrance. The car is 166 MM/53 Spider Vignale serial number 0290 M, owned by James H. Fuchs of West Allis/WI, USA. Please note that there is already another great thread with dozens of Ferrari factory photographs, in the Model Specific, Classic section of ferrarichat. It is named "Factory Photos 25 Years Ago".

I know that Texas is a bit bigger.........Maranello is 18 kms from the city of Modena and from there on it is another 25 kms to Sant'Agata di Bolognese (Lamborghini). That's about 43 kms or 27 miles.

That's where I'm staying in July.

Where do you park if you're visiting the factory or can I leave my rental at the hotel and walk over?

theres an underground carpark under the hotel, the factory entrance is literally across the road from the hotel and the ferrari store is downstairs. I was very happy with my stay, im going again this june but might stay somewhere cheaper this time.

I stayed at the Hotel Europa. It was no frills but the people were really nice and it had morning Breakfest all for 82.00 Euro for a double. Outside parking and quiet.
