On the main straight is the exit. Why someone stopped after the exit i don't know maybe he missed the exit or had some other problems.

I thought I was going to bust that one, good eye, you beat me to it. Not many Vipers in Europe, way to much in insurance. I believe it has to do with displacement.

Yes, it's a one way track, but you have to go off, just a few hundred meters where the pits is. You cannot take the whole straight as it might look like in the pic. Only track-assistants can do that. You have to go off as the pilons on track will indicate.

Then you can put your coin in the machine again and the gate opens for you.
You pay per lap about 14 euros.

Perhaps a few people where indicated to take another lap (no exit) as it was perhaps to crowdy in the exit (to dangerous as everybody approaches with huge speed).

To clarify the question about the circuit's configuration, the organizers wisely put the entrance/exit to the track on the long straight, right about where the GP cars would be hitting their maximum speed in the old days, thereby keeping the over-enthusiastic from getting in completely over their heads. Each car must exit the circuit on each lap, come to a stop at the toll machine, and then re-enter. The webcam is located just above the toll machine, which is the bright blue box in the lower right of the screen. The Nordschleife is of course one-way only.

Lapping this fantastic circuit, which has so much history associated with Ferrari, is highly, highly recommended if you ever find yourself in the area when it's open. It's not an experience to be taken lightly though, as there's no "reset" button if you make a mistake at speed.
