Well after a short wait, delivery day has come and it raining...actually severe thunderstorms in the area. The clouds and rain cooperated with a small window of dry weather as the unloading process was completed.

First impressions.......I really love the Ferrari Yellow!!! I haven't hit my head. After being without the 360 for a year, this car is definately worth the wait. Gorgeous lines and many subtle differences from the 360. I haven't driver her yet. Maybe tomorrow.
Many thanks to all here who helped me locate possible cars.

Craig Forbes at Ferrari of Atlanta represented this used 1200 (rain free) mile car exactly. It's in better condition that I thought. Very professional and helpful. THe car's perfect. Thanks CRAIG!

Gosh I really love the Yellow!!! THANKYOU AGAIN ROY CATS!!
For the guys waiting...It's worth it!
BTY this car will be going to Continental Ferrari (Chicago) when my six speed manual transmission coupe order number comes up. Will it be Yellow or Red?

Dave, I have a feeling your going to love the F1 in the 430. I had an F1 in my 360 Spider, and I missed the 6 Speed from my 355. But after driving a fellow chatters 430 with F1, I can't tell you how impressed I was by the new F1.

Congratulations! Thanks for the reply from your previous thread. Looking forward to your impressions of the F430 vs. 360 and F1 vs. 6-spd. Who knows, maybe you'll like the F1 so much you'll order your new F430 with that tranny. I'm playing with the idea of getting a 360 6-spd coupe for the time being until my name comes up on the F430 wait list. I just talked to my dealer and he said their allocation, like all Ferrari dealers, has been drastically reduced. He said if their allocation is the same for subsequent years that my name will come up toward the end of the F430's production run, a little too close for comfort I'm afraid.

You can't go wrong with a 6 speed manual 360. I've never tired of the manual tranny. Stay tuned for my thoughts of the F-1. I was supposed to get a manual tranny coupe this fall and it's been pushed back due to allocation. I feel I have a greater trade tool now vs. the Murcielago.

Congrats on the new car, yellow looks fantastic! I will be interested in your thoughts regarding the F1 gearbox, compared to a manual 360.

The first impression is HOW MUCH I LIKE THE 'YELLOW" and how loud the OEM exhaust is. The service tech altered the secondary exhaust value into the open position.
Stay tuned to the F-1 trannsmission vs. manual 6 speed comparison as soon as we are done waterskiing and the street dry.
Remember, I'm one of the weird owners who do not drive the cars in the rain. I prefer to keep the cars pristine for the nest owner!

Dave congratulations. Always fun to get a new toy. Best part is...you've still going to remain part of the 6-speed brotherhood in the future! - :)

    Beautiful car Dave!!!

    What color is the interior?

One dumb question, there didnt seem to be much room in the trailer to open the Ferrari's door to get in. How was the car reversed out there or was it pushed out?

I'm just curious as to why you don't take it out in the rain? Surely its more than capable of holding its own on wet tarmac. Unless you have slicks on.

Love your car congrats. I agree with you regarding the choice of color ! :)
Just got back from driving mine . It still puts a smile on my face everytime i'm in it . The exhaust note makes it all worthwhile .
