My entire school takes drugs(not me)..

It's soo crazy I finally get a new friend and BOOM he's out smoking pot and stuff =\ I've had no friends since las summer YIPPIE!

 

Me? Chill? Maybe you're right! I'll just recollect the good ol days when I popped Soconal and Quaaludes on a daily basis! Who knows, maybe some of them young'ns will get to read it?

 

Wrong, I know Darth somewhat and am poking a little fun at him. I am not meaning anything belittling or demeaning. I hope he realizes that. Hey Darth, if I offended you, please forgive me. I did not mean it that way........I am just saying that maybe this is getting a little more heated than it needs to and maybe everyone should step back, take a deep breath and ask ourselves " how much difference this thread will make in 20 years"

Over the last two weeks it was pretty bad* but I think it's settling down again.

*And it was only bad in the off topic forums - the rest of the place was active and great as ever.

 

I don't hate him. I just don't appreciate his drug stories.

There is no hate. I am not young and impressionable. I have a young son. I don't appreciate someone on a soap box sharing drug abuse stories.

Zupra, keep up the good work. Many of us did dumb stuff, and some of us regret it, most of us move on, but the few who don't are screwed. You do OK for a 14yo, and you like Ferraris. Work hard, you'll get one. Many here will help you find one, work on it, and be a friend, all without meeting you. The local friends who abuse drugs are the ones who can screw up your life, so don't sacrifice your values just to get friends. EVER.

Here, here, I totally agree. I have a 16 year old son who sounds kinda like you Zupra. He has decided to separate himself from a few "friends" also because they began to do things his values do not agree with. I am very proud of him for doing it and I commend you for making hard decisions also.
