    You upload 4 at a time but they are not immediately posted. Fchat is just getting ready. Be patient. In a few seconds Fchat clears 4 new spaces to fill, shows what you have already uploaded and waits for you to either post what you have, edit what you did or add to the collection. You can upload as many as you want, in groups of 4. I uploaded 40 or so in one post last week. If one shouldn't be there, delete it. Check as you go because if you want a certain sequence, and make a mistake, you have to erase everything back to the error. fix the error and reload the rest. When you run out of pictures, erase the "attachments" screen, edit the text and go. I always preview my stuff just to make sure that all is in order. Then submit and you will see the results. The preview does not show pictures, just text. But there is a list of all the pictures in the order they will be displayed, and with all the info as to size,etc. Fchat entry format is fantastic. Makes E-Bay, etc. look pitiful. Keep up the pictures. We like them.

    Jon, I've been following your posts for some time and am both jealous and impressed. You and your son must be having a great time. I wish I had the space for such a project with my son. He'd love it as much as I would. Your images are most helpful. My '74 is undergoing an engine rebuild as we "speak" by buddies at a local shop. I look at your pics with the idea of a reference "manual" as well as an idea for a future project. Keep up the great work!! Marc

    Jon, this post is exactly what I have been hoping to find for years. Back in 1986 I disassembled my Dino almost to the point you are at now, and it has been apart ever since. No digital cameras back then, and I thought I would get to restoring soon, so I took only a few Polaroid pics. I did box and store everthing methodically, but I know I have forgotten much. These pictures will be a great help to me and anyone else who is in the process of restoring a Dino. Thanks for being so generous with this thread.

    Pictures, lots of them, are great. Trick I found for captions was to use white letters with a large, fuzzy shadow. Many editors allow this and the text is readable against most any backgound, no matter the color. If a shadow is not possible, a semi-transparent grey rectangle under the text gives the text some contrast while still not killing details in the picture. Take a look at some of my "Dino Saga" posts to see the effect. My standard technique is to edit the pictures at full resolution. Rotation, cropping, gamma, brightness, contrast, etc., in that order. Then I shrink, sharpen and save to a new file with a short name or number that windows will sort to the top of the list in the picture folder. The last 3 digits of the original name is my favorite. Just delete the rest and save. Add text now or later. When you are ready to post, the good pictures will be at the top and uploading is a snap. The original stays as is or is discarded if no good at all.

    Keep up the good work. I did a fair amount of work to my 308 and much of it looks familiar - can see the "family" resemblence! Pictures often worth a thousand words, and provide a great record. Well done.

    That photo with the caption"view with the left tank out" shows what looks like an aluminium sheet on the firewall it also looks like it is has been formed to fit around the chassis? can you post further photos of this area as you progress? This thread as with John Corbarni's excellent threads provide a wealth of knowledge and information to us all out here to which we are extremely greatfull for. Please keep it up!
    P.S. Omgjon are you still going with the flares conversion?
