How can some guys prefer FAT BOTTOM GIRLS?

I'm not sure what to say but I used to be friends with a very skinny girl and she used to say all the time.. "why is it that you get so much more attention? I think guys like girls with curves like you more than me" I had never noticed it but she was really insecure so, who knows? It also seemed that the guys I met/dated wanted a relationship and the guys she met just wanted to have a one night stand.. that could have a lot to do with personality though. I'm not fat but I'm not skinny.. I'm pretty average with big boobs. I don't have a problem getting guys. Weird subject though.. I don't know if this sheds any light or not.

 

The mail guy at a company I used to work for liked them, and I am quoting him, "Grubby n Chubby." I never knew what he meant.

He also said that he keeps a sack of flour next to his bed.

This isn't quite related to the differences between a slender woman and more curvy woman, but I have noticed the following. It seems like if a woman has a larger rear or broader hips then she will be a bit smaller up top. While a woman with big boobs will have broader shoulders and an almost flat bottom with narrow hips. I know the terms apple and pear shaped but it seems to hold often - anyone else find the same thing?

Yep! My girl friends and I noticed this. All of us that have big boobs don't have much of a butt and those with a butt are rather flat chested. I've had to workout my butt a lot to get what I have but it used to be flat as a pancake!

Isnt it a fertility thing, Arnt there studies about our mating habits that show attraction to larger hips or rears due to instinctual mating tendencies? Goes back to our caveman days.

I've heard the fertility/child bearing image thing too.

There are certain signals ingrained and or recognized by human evolution that indicate attracitvness/vialbility/fertility. One example is "red" lips (amplified by modern lipstick) which indicates sexual attraction/rediness/arousal. Problem is that today's "pop" culture easily over-rides those base impulses by bombarding us with the media's standard of attractiveness.

IMHO... Attraction/beauty today is as much fashion as clothing in todays culture. Remember big hair and leopard prints of the 80's, the skin and bones models of the 70's, the homemaker apron of the 50's....fashion.

Big bottom girls (Jen Lopez and bigger) which have been glamorized by rap stars and videos are nothing more than the latest fashion.... if that's what we are talking about....=)

Fat, thin, one leg it doesn't matter.... nothing is more attractive than a woman who is comforatble in her own skin (works both ways, BTW).

Eh, I like my girls with a little bit of a bottom. Nothing slim, nothing huge, just right. When they are wearing jeans or tight spandex pants/shorts working out...man. Or when you are doing it, more cushion, you can slap it, spank it, grab a hold onto it...it all depends on how it looks like without any clothes on. If a girl has nice bottom when jeans are on it, but it's all dimply when those clothes are off, thats disgusting.

Late to this topic but honestly it all depends on the gal. Beauty is a spectrum cute-sexy petite-curvy and such, everybody has a perfect spot where they belong.

Yeah the science on this says men are attracted to fertility signals, which MarkyMark mentioned in a earlier post. I think what's missing from this discussion is that it's not only the big butt that is creating attraction, it's the combination of big butt and small waist. The ratio of waist to hips is crucial here. Not many people are out there glorifying obese women, it's the women with the most extreme waist to hips ratio and the hourglass figure that are driving this whole trend.

Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian have been mentioned, these are both examples of what I'm talking about. The waist to hips ratio is excellent on those two (fake implants notwithstanding). Lots of the IG models are also succeeding based on this same principle. Nobody is winning on big all over, or having a gut to go with the large butt.

The science says women have small waist before they have given birth. After giving birth the waist will be larger, so men are attracted to the ones who have not given birth yet (small waist) but are well equipped to do so (large hips). Sometimes when people are praising the "fat bottoms" this detail about small waist gets lost. Sir Mix-A-Lot explained this clear as day in the 80s.
