    That's new info for me.
    I had those wheels too on my Mondial.
    The car has run in CA for about 12 years............allready changed them for 348 wheels.

    I just realized that BMW offered the phone wheels on their new 6 series and Z4s. You might want to check those out for more modern variants.

    At least your wheels weren't painted gold. My car came with the gold BBS wheels, and the previus owner painted the original 14" wheel (spare tire) gold.

    I don't think the Bertone angles go with the circular patterns.

    I actually like th gold color and wanted to paint mine like that. I have seen several boxers and daytonas with the period correct gold racing color and it looks good with red. Marchello Ghandini designed the gt4, the countach, the diablo the lancia stratos and the muira. I like the QV wheels as it keeps the original style with a larger size that said the 328 wheels look good too. I also have a set of HRE's which looked good to me once but now are in my dinning room.
