308 Rotors - resurfacing question

    I would not turn the rotors. Any ridges will wear into the pads and you'll never know the difference. I've changed pads many, many times and have never had a rotor turned - even on my track cars and my 328 used to be one.

    Rotors for Ferraris are expensive, so why throw metal away by facing them.

    They were Brembo's which believe it or not I got on ebay, still in the box. I think I only paid about $200US for the two fronts which was cheap! I think you can still get new ones from Brembo, but at a substantially higher price.

    Agreed. I too never cut rotors unless they run out and cause a pedal or steering pulsation. If a rotor is grooved doesn't it have more surface area? (albeit slightly more?)
