Insane- I love your car Andy, well done and that's obviously an understatement- I'd take your car are over a 360 and I'm not kidding.

Andy hls, show us more pics of your car. Tell us about the mods, history. I have not seen one this modified. Also, I like the 348 GT/C-LM (2) and 348 Competizione (56) and 348 GT Competizione (11). Any info on these special cars? I have been thinking of one of these. Did any come to North America?

I have never seen the 355 Special Edition (20). Any info?

My car is a 348 Challenge, last raced at the Mugello Challenge runoffs in 1996 US 348 series Champion car. I have driven it over 20k miles in the last 24 months. A wonderful ralley and track car...

I agree with that 100%. I like the 348 better becasue of the side strakes, it screams Ferrari and looks more exotic than the 355's.

ditto - the 355 is a much "better" car - cleaner looks, much more hp, the wife could drive it. But the 348 is in my garage (even though the wife preferred the newer 355).

You can't beat a Black on Black 348 with your favorite 18' rims. That will beat the look of almost any 355.

355 you just can't beat the perfomance.....

No need to mix and match 348/355, just get one of these...

    :)

348 GT Competizione 1/50, 1/8 RHD, 1180kg, 320 bhp, you work the figures out, it'll stay with a 355 and just look at it.. mmm mmm!

This isn't my car I don't have any pics side on, hope it's ok posting it here John/James!? ;)

Some of the ingredients in your mix are incorrect....

    348 Steering
    355 Interior
    355 Rearbonnet
    348 Exhaust
    either suspension
    348 Front Bumper
    348 Rear Bumper
    355 Taillights
    348 Doors
    360 Wheels

355 gets my vote, although 348 has a nice rear end...

That is the only thing I don't care for on the 348 is the taillight setup....I think the 348 looks 100% better with the round taillight conversion kit otherwise they both are awesome cars.

It's okay. It was just a jab at the 328 group (there is not much else to say bad about the 328). I like the 328 as well.

    I've heard it said....."A 355 is a perfected 348"

That said (or recited)...I've never driven a 348, but from those who have they say the streering of the 355 is power-assist but you absolutely have all the "fee" and road-translation you need. I've heard that was lost in the 360, along with the throttle-by-wire gas pedal.

I love the side-strakes of the 348 though....

I dunno, it's like looking at two brothers who have great similarity. Why bother comparing, each is amazing & fun. Silly to compare.

That said...355 all the way baby!!!!!!! ;)
