What exactly is so bad about the 599?
Styling is loved by some, hated by others, but that factor is as old as the cars themselves(I bet Carriages had styling controversies ,too).
No one has driven the car yet, based on the specs though, the car promises outstanding drive experience.
Same applies to 612 and 430,which also, why having styling fans and detractors, are unquestionably top(if not best) rides in their respective classes.
You may not like them but that is a fact, confirmed by personal experience of almost anyone who had a privilege of driving them and all ,with no exceptions, car magazine writers, too.

You can't and haven't offended me Ellen, you are like a mentally impaired homeless man muttering to himself and others walking down the street making no sense, no offence to the homeless man comparing him to you and I am sure the homeless man has more class, keep drinking more of that Lamebo cow juice now to keep that buzz especially when driving your new Audi down the street, when it breaks you will be able to find cheap mechanical parts in a Audi wrecking yard though gotta give it that.

Funny thing is some "Lambo Guys" feel the need to demean ferrari's on an F-Car site. In my time on Lambo sites, never get the same degree of lambo hatred from the F-Car crowd. I wonder why that is?

As for me, I like both. They are different, and each has value in it's own way.

I love F-Cars, and a large portion of that comes from the racing history that goes with them That's a value that can't be measured,... but it is also an individual appreciation, and may not be worth the same (or anything) to others.

IMO Lamborghini makes some spectacular cars, and If I could afford every car I wanted I would certainly have a few (Miura S, Countach 5000QV, and G-spyder)....

Unfortunately, I think your posts reflect poorly on lambo owners in genereal whether that is fair or not...

The only thing more important than performance on an exotic car is appearance. Ferrari hasnt designed a car that will stand the test of time since the TR and F40. The 355 is boring, the 360 is worse. The 550/575's look like Supras on steriods. The 612 and older 456 inmo, should just all be destroyed, absolutely worthless pieces of metal. The new 599 continues this trend. I will say, that atleast with the 430, Ferrari got the drive aspect of the car right. In an F1, it is clearly a better driving car than an early Egear Gallardo. Funny thing is I drove a 6 speed 430 and it was horrible. So for me, it would boil down to, F1 430 vs early Egear G, and id actually take the 430. I prefer the 06 Gallardo in any form, over any 430. Ferrari needs to get back to making exotic cars, not cars that are visually no more exciting than a mercedes.

Yawn, I'd get that putzing around in my 40 yr old Impala. You gents should stop worrying about how the public is reacting and just race. The BS stops when the flag drops.

There's no doubt that Ellen is to blame for the ill will, but come on, the G Spider is one sexy piece of metal. Referring to it is an Audi junker etc is just disrespectful and stupid IMO. I for one would chose the Gallardo spider over the Ferrari, as it looks better to my eye. I'm not fussed if one is slightly faster/better handling, as no one is going to utilise the cars ultimate potential on the street. If you want it for the track, you wouldn'g buy a convertible in the first place.

The Gallardo shares many mechanical parts with other Audis more so than Ferraris to Fiats thats a fact.

Too each his own, I am not that impressed with the Gs styling at all or the ergonomics of the car, I think the 430 looks much nicer between the 2, one other thing I noticed was the door hinges had some flex and you could see the doors move from the gap between the door edge and main body area when closing it, I never implied the G is a total junker since it shares Audi parts though.
