348 Challenge at Top Speed

Standard tires P700.

I have the single muffler though, could be like the challenge edition ?
My car had the "challenge" signs on the car when I bought it.

 

I have seen also 290 km/h @ 7500 rpm on the german Autobahn, no problem with my std 1993 348 ts .

Wow,all you guys have topped the factory top speed for sure. Besides,Davato,do the other guys have standard wheels on their 348 when they have done 280km/h plus??? Cause a larger/smaller diameter wheel/tyre size can throw your speedo out also. Example--you are doin say......290km/h,but the speedo shows 300km/h. The speedo is out 10km/h because of the aftermarket wheels

 

is it me or do those 2 pics have dif odometer readings?

Someone who puts a car on a jack or jackstands and spins the rear tires at 180+ mph is crazier than someone who would actually drive at that speed!

 

I did 180km/h on a quite stretch of road yesterday. It was fun. A little off the pace compared to you guys although lol

 

Well, I have no 355 or 360 (wished !) but saw again yesterday 270km/h (168mph) on the speedo on the highway (less than 2 km between the exits while visiting my mom).

To tell you the truth, I don't get the fuzz.
Ok, the 355 and 360 need 15 seconds less to reach 150mph and more... but we get there also on our turtle ;-)
