I need some help. My TR gets a nasty vibration in the steering wheel at speeds of 85+. I have had the tires balanced. I have even changed back to the factory wheels and checked the front end. Everything seems OK, although my experience with this car is limited. Any thoughts on what this might be?

    Thanks, Bill.

Go to a really good up to date shop, not just an average wheel works and have them balanced on a machine that is load force compensation capable.

Those are capable of finding a variety of faults and correcting some of them.

There is no reason it cannot be smooth as a babies butt at high speed.

Check for wheel run out and/or tyre shape.

    Thanks for the assist.

    Update:
I took it for an hour drive on the highway today and noticed that the vibration is more like a damper or loose front end issue (side to side in the S-wheel) and not a bouncing. I also noticed that no vibrations were felt in the floor. Does anyone know how to check the damper and or have a image of the TR front end?

    Thanks again,
    Bill
