heard the number of 100 used several times referencing the total of Euro 308s in the States. Asked Carbon but he didn't know. Can anyone confirm that number?
I gotta git me some o'them euro bumpers for my Dino! They are interchangeable yes? Cheers! DT _______________________________________ There is nothing like a Ferrari, there never has been and never will be!
Hi On the GT4 the front bumper is I think interchangeable. But the rear body work is different, esp, the sides of the fenders. A swap there is much more work. You can see the difference here: http://visser-scully.ca/tools/coppermine/displayimage.php?album=1&pos=4
Sorry guys, For GT4 owners, you either have Euro bumpers or you are in for a lot of work to convert to Euro's. I checked today on 11994 (my car is 11966 so they probably met in Italy on the production line ) The US cars has different from and rear fenders (with cutouts for the rubber side pieces) and a different rear panel (straight vs. the 'smile' pattern of the Euro ones). I thought that was very tastefully done and it sounded like a reliable state of oomph from the turbo as well. Have you got any updates as to the viability of the upgrade ? These cars are such a classic that I can understand why you wanted one and then the extra power but sometimes it doesn't translate over time, any misgivings ?
