Thanks very much...I'm gonna keep an eye out for that front end on other colors as well....what a difference it makes!
Yes, I understand that, what I meant was "how much of an improvement it makes on other colors" as well. I've now noticed it in Black and like what it does.
I think Dark rims with Red calipers would look great on that colour car, yellow calipers are too over powering on silver cars
Agreed. The ligher wheels are OK due to the white stripe, otherwise no. The darker wheels would be better if there was no stripe. With the stripe it's a toss up, but I like the darker ones. Puts more attention on the body. Ideally, I would paint the wheels body color, and change the calipers to bright silver. That's a bit more subtle.
Way to confuse me..............thanks! Everything is staying the same (Stripe, brakes, etc...), except the wheels........... There's enough intense mental anguish just over the wheel color!!!
Then why not go body color? Tones down the brakes, it won't look dirty, and it won't stand out like the lighter ones?
They DO look good.....don't get me wrong. In fact with the strip they carry the "racer" theme the best. And they blend the brakes in well too. In a word: Lighter wheels say: "Special" (Just overall, the package looks more spectacular) Darker wheels say: "Rugged/Working Class/Just off the Racetrack" Between the two, in view of the stripe, I'd go with the lighter ones then.
He has been hanging around Robert for too long. This is called "analysis paralysis". The only solution is to keep the dark wheels on one side of the car, and the light wheels on the other side. Or sell the car and buy the yellow CS you wanted.
Simple..get a set of each! and change them accordingly (track - dark, street - stock) problem solved!
