Anyone know what cars are in Schumi's collection?

I know a couple of years ago his favourite car was a Fiat 500

 

His Silver 550 is for sale in Switzerland at the moment.
From what I've heard, he has a relatively modest car collection, his passion is horses.

 

He has a big castle near where he was born in Kerpen, near Koln in Germany. He also has a big place in Swiss Alps. Very appropriate that his passion should be horses considering the car he drives for work

He also bought a large villa on Lake Como last year (or the year before).

 

You have to understand - anything you give him wont really stand any chance with the cars he drives for a living (of course performance-wise) So in some way I'm not surprised. He did have an EB110 though didnt he?

 

Schumacher has owned a number of Ferraris. Yes, he did also own an EB110 at one time. He was presented with a Fiat 500 as a gift from Ferrari/Fiat as he had one as his first car. I believe he also has a collection of the various cars he has raced as, I think, does Ralf.

His wife's passion is horses rather than his.

He has some cars tuned by Brabus. And also a Maserati Quatroporte & Alfa Romeo 156 Sportswagon (for his family). And I believe it's true that he owns one of every F1 car he has ever raced with.

 

I believe in his contract it states he gets one F1 car hes raced after each season. Plus doesn't he also get one of each new Ferrari when they come out? I think I remember reading that was the case.

I know he likes Harleys. I think he owns a few in the US and all over Europe. I think he really likes the "western" and "biker" type of lifestyle, hence the way he dresses.

He also has a Maserati Spyder. I read this on the Olympus website when they were sponsors of the F1 team last year.

I figure he spends most of his money on real estate, planes, horses and he gives a lot to charity.

Remember he donated $10M to the tsunami victims...

 

I heard that when someone does a favor for him, he buys them a Harley as a token of his appreciation. I can be appreciative!

I can't imagine driving roadcars could be terribly exciting after driving F1 cars everyday. However, the beauty of the vehicles could still be a big factor. Probably leads to a lot of GARAGE QUEENS. Justifiably so.

Schumi keeps to himself, and somehow-- is able to. Europe must be crazily respectful of his privacy. It seems like he gets a lot of respect, which he obviously deserves.

Kudos to Schumacher. May he do whatever the hell he wants with the money he makes.

He had the same problem in Germany. He lived in Monaco for a while until moving to Switzerland in '96 (same year he joined Ferrari).

 

My passion is Schumachers.

 

I think it was Eddie Irvine who called the 1996 car (F310) "a dog". It was during an item he did for TV where he was showing Louise Goodman around Maranello and the Galleria. There was an F310 in the Galleria that Eddie said was a dog. I think he was right!

Michael must have a ton of money as he hardly seems to spend any. Maybe when he retires he'll get a huge coke habit and start making stupid and hasty business decisions - afterall he can't take it with him! I think it was George Best who said "I must have spent millions on booze, and girls - the rest I wasted!"...

 

MS had a special Yellow Bugatti EB110SS with an interior with wood and leather (as in the EB110GT). It is said he sold the car but I've never saw the car since. At one point he had one of the silver Group C Mercedes he drove when he was younger. Of course if he still have it, he can't show himself next to this car.
He also have one of his Benetton F-1 car.

And the well-known Rosso-Scuderia Enzo with dedicated plates and gunmetal wheels.
