    hi i am loking at buying a 348ts 1991 rosso red its for sale in leicester area. it looks a bit tired around the edges its had 7 owners the reg is H304 ATV its had 3 to 4 personalised plates one is 1BMW it seems that between 1997 to 2002 it was off the road. i looked at it 2 weeks ago and 2 lads from london had put a £500 deposit down but its up for sale again i have got a mondial qv and no the cost of ferrari owner ship. what do you think a bargin or money pit or are there any old owners out there the car can be seen at www.choicevehicles.net/ kev.

    Cant really tell from the pics (apart from its red!) if it's a little tired round the edges and has done 50k it should be at least £2k cheaper!
    I'd be a bit worried about why it was off the road for 5 years.......has it been raced, have the Mot's/history vanished for this time........was it really on the road with the speedo disconected!
    you may want to ignore the "we've taken a deposit" argument, whilst it may be true its also a widely used way of hooking a punter

    as you've already got a mondy QV you probably don't need reminding to get a full PPI by a Ferrari specialist before you sign on the dotted line

    Give them an offer of about 21k see what they say to test the water.

    Sorry Dale yours would be too expensive. Also I like to work on my cars so do like ones with work needed which are cheaper and my time is free

    Could be selling mine soon if you are interested.
    Is a 348 TS red with cream leather, 1994 - L reg, done less miles, full service history, owned it for over 3 years.
    Thinking of getting a 355 spider so the 348 needs a new owner to love it.

    Kev,

    I have also been to see it and to me it didn't ring true, so I walked away - at speed. for a while they dropped the price by 2K and it still didn't go.....
