Well, Had a great run with a freind today who shall remain nameless !! Thanks for the lift, and the show today. Here are some pics of my favorite red/black ragtop 355 getting an engine out service. What a car, and the engine out, just beautiful...great car. Sorry for my camera pics, but its the best I can do. Enjoy. If someone can guess what the car is under the 355 in picture three I will give them a free Ferrarichat t-shirt. The person with me today, is not allowed in this Moses.
maaaan thats a nice car...with the engine out looks great...oen of the best sosunding ferrari's for sure!!! and i'm gonna go out on a limb and say its an SLR Mclaren..... PS. GREAT DAY OUTSIDE! Later,
Correct, but Dino got it first. I didnt know this but the 400 is very rare, the majority of them were a 400a in automatic. I believe the % is 10% of the cars in the 400 line up were actually 5 speed.
Rick, great drive yesterday. I was itching to go for a long ride and picking up your beast hit the spot. 20 cylinders above 5000rpm's sounds fantastic! I guess nobody spotted us...
Thanks again for the lift amigo !! That carb of yours is truly beautiful....love the note on that at 3k and over....I just cant believe the sound and feeling in the cockpit...truly wonderful. Mine is so different, more throat, deeper, but not as musically for sure. They sure did sound nice screaming along the QEW yesterday, and of course nobody spotted us, we weren't parked...lol !! Must do it again real soon my freind.
If you merge this thread, I swear when you come back on you will be in for a big suprise.......stop merging ,your outta control.
Rick you forgot to mention the cute yellow car that is in the shop. It was actually on the production line a few cars after mine. Only thing wrong with that 400 is it the lack of Webers, other than that it is a beautiful car. (I dropped in after 2pm, sorry I missed you.) Gerrit
