I am having trouble with a couple things with my Mondial Cab, 1987. I am attempting to put the top down, I can not put my top down because...the rear windows will not go down.

I do not know if it a electrical short? Any suggestions would be great! The car also seems to be idoling high as well....anyone else notice this problem?

    Sincerely,

    TK

Run a search, as this topic has been covered many, many times. Quick recommendation: 1. With engine running, push switch and give window a helping hand at same time. 2. Clean switches and connections thereto. If that doesn't work, you have real problems because those motors and pulley system are difficult to access. Motors could be shot, but probably not both at the same time. Probably dirty, corroded connections combined with hardened grease on the pulleys. Again, search this site for more thorough answers.

Let the rest of us Mondial owners know what you did to fix the problem, please, in case it happens to us.

    Thx

Yes! Please let us know what was actually wrong and what you did to fix it.

I simply try to roll all windows up and down periodically just to keep them in shape. I don't know if it helps, but it certainly hasn't hurt.

What was actually wrong with mine was the fuse, I traded out the fuses from right to left....and some functions worked and others did not. I also took another members advice and cleaned all my switches and connections. I now have more issues...getting ready to write about.

    Thanks every so much,

    TK
