Miami Vice ...

I've been watching for hours now. I'm hoping that I can see the episode that shows them blowing up the Daytona.

Miami Vice is great. They have great music, great looking women, great cars and boats, good plots, good actors, but most of all, they blow a lot of stuff up. After I watch a few shows I like to go for a quick drive or flight.

If I'm not mistaken, Sons and Lovers, last show of 1985 season 2, Is were the Daytona goes bye-bye, and in the second show of the 3rd season Crockett gets the TR, (Stone's War)

 

I have season one and two on DVD. I did not see the Daytona get blown up , yet. Maybe the beginning of season three.

 

It must have happened the the season 3 first show, "When Irish Eyes Are Crying"

 

Which episode is that and how can I obtain a copy. I was working in that race in 1986 and would love to see it again.

No, I think it's a Season 3 episode where Liam Neeson plays an Irish priest who is in Miami to raise money for the suffering children of the war between the IRA and the Brits, and he is in fact going to shoot down the Concorde with a Stinger missile as it leaves the airport. At the weapons buy, Crockett complains about the Singers being 6 years old and asks how he knows the Singers will go "bang" when he pulls the trigger. Then the seller uses the Daytona as a demonstration target.

 

yeah this is, then the terriorist is driving the black tr, then next show castille tells crockett to go outside and look at his new car, crockett see it then starts quouteing the performance stats and horsepower and what not.

 

I've been watching for 2 days. Ok, I know this has been hashed & re-hashed but I wasn't paying attention: Is the white TR the real deal? When it takes a corner in the opening credits it leans more that I would think a stiff car like that would. How about the Daytona? Real or Memorex?
Just saw Lou Diamond Phillips in 1 episode & a very young Tom Paxton in another.

 

The black Daytona is a Corvette, the white Testarossa is the real thing.

 

The White Testarossa is real in some shots, but for some of the trickier action, supposedly they used a Pantera with a Testarossa body.

neither Sonny nor Tubbs died at the end. Sonny drove Tubbs to the airport in a stolen Ferrarii.
