    3. Horns on the 430
    4. Exhuast system on the 360, not 430
    5. Radio Nav System swapped out

I am not a fan of the 3M clear film... it's a car. To me it's like sitting on a plastic covered sofa. If it gets chipped, then have it buffed / painted, big deal.

Definitley air horns. I don't understand why Ferrari went away from the signature horns. It was the first thing I changed, second was exhaust.

    Andy,

TCU is the transmission Control Unit only functional on F1.

    What did you buy?

Teh TCU software in older models (pre 03) need teh upgrade for better shifting. Teh 430 is completely different (i.e. better) The 430 does not jump out of "auto" mode when you paddle over the computers decisions.

To determine what version of the TCU you have installed? I just picked up a '02 360 Spider in Feb and to me the shift from 1/2 is slow and rough. Wondering if i have the outdated TCU. Any help would be appreciated. Also LOVE the 360 in Titanium that you just got. Just so happens that is what color my spider is.

I disagree. CS needs the cats removed, Tubi NGT/Capristo Level 3 and 4 point belts (rollbar is your discretion)

I can get them for you here through the parts department at the The AutoGallery. If you PM me with your contact info I'll get you a quote, if you have a fax number I'll fax you the flyer I have for them.

They are the same hat and rotor configurations you get with the Brembo Big Brake kits, just that they are stock diameter and offset so they are a direct replacement for the stock one piece cast 360 and F430 rotors. They use the "McClaren" hardware for mounting the hat to the rotor.

Not only do they look better, they cool better and are lighter weight. I haven't seen a quote on them in a while, but I recall them being less expensive than Ferrari OEM replacement rotors.

I think you can spec them out with drilled or slotted rotros, but I need to confirm that.

I called Brembo and got some more info. The first time you buy the upgraded two piece hats and rotors the suggested retail is $3495. That includes, hats, rotors, and hardware all assembled. When you need to replace the rotors next time, the rotors are all that needs to be replaced and you're looking at only $1600 for 4 rotor, that you bolt to the existing hats you purchased earlier.

This Brembo hat a rotor conversion saves about 6lbs per wheel, and it has directional curved vains.

For comparison, stock one piece OEM Ferrari replace rotors are about $900 each. So you spending $3600 to replace with Ferrari OEM.

I live in the Pacific Northwest, consequently horns are reserved for dire human-life in peril emergencies, and moments of the most utmost last-resort expression of dissatisfaction; hence I might use the horn once or at most twice per year. Unfortunately, due to the proximity of the horn switch to a nice solid grip on the wheel, I inadvertently sound the horn at least once or twice a month. Adding air horns would only serve the purpose of maximising my embarrassment at these opportunities ;-)

I agree with the plastic-wrapped sofa analogy on the 3M film. Since
    (a) it looks ugly
    (b) doesn't protect the bumper at all from the bigger rock chips
You're going to have to get the bumper repainted at some point anyway ...
