What are you asking for the car? Don't shoot me or anything but how hard would it be to stuff a Corvette LS1 in there?

We all saw that 308 with the Fiero drivetrain in it on Ebay a while back. Throw in a Fiero V8 conversion kit and a lot of measuring/welding, I think you're on your way.

OK people, stop right there. No damn Fiero drivetrains. It's bad enough to make a Fiero look like a Ferrari, but going the other way is illegal in most states. OK, it's not illegal, but it SHOULD be!

Somewhere on this board is a 308 guy that can and will save this car. Lets find him!

C'mon Birdman. 400 HP, no timing belts, and a tranny that actually hits second? Throw a 288 body kit on it and it would be a fun ride.

Okay, this is where I am and how I roll. I will not give the car away for cheap, and I will not knowingly sell it to someone who is not an enthusiast enough to keep it a FERRARI. Its a FERRARI, not a Vette, not a Fiero, not anything else. It is not IMO a pos car, its got potential. But I will cut it up to keep other FERRARI's running before I would ever let something sadistic happen to it. These cars, especially the early steel cars are in low numbers, lower every day, and there is someone out there that either could use a complete shell, or a section, if not a roller.

I need to re-phrase what I said earlier. I have recieved quite a few emails on the car and while most are reasonable, a few have been rediculous. I believe I am reasonable, and that most know what this stuff is worth, but a $1000 offer for a body shell is not reasonable. I could set a price, but would rather just take offers dependent on how much of it someone wants. So I am sorry if I came off the wrong way in the last post.

I am presently thinking of selling just the body shell, with no interior, no glass except the windshield, no suspension, no guages, no switches, basically a stripped body shell.

Just stick it on ebay. Anyone making an offer here will be trading time for money, and it's obvious that you're after optimal coin (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Jason, I really havent decided what will be the cars future yet. Its really not a bad car, and, if the allegations of a uptake in thier values can become reality, I may kick myself if I dont try putting it back together. If I were to do anything with it I would sell it whole, as parting it away would just take another early 308 off the streets.
