355 Tribute Video

wow that was amazing. the 355 was already my favorite Fcar but that video just made me want it even more.

 

I think it is from around '95, he did buy a 355 and said it was the best car ever, I think he still highly regards them, he has a Ford Gt now

 

That vid featured several drivers, Tiff Needel had a brief stint in Formula 1, I think one of the drivers was Tim Harvey who is an ex Btcc (british Touring cars) Champion, if I remember rightly he was on 5th Gear for a while

 

Even better with the real sound. One for the files for sure. Had a recent drive, just before the weather gets nasty. Had to go out in the garage for a second just to here the ticking of the engine as it cools. Mmmm.

I'm not certain we can say it's the best car in the world...but as sound goes, the 355 is widely regarded as the best sounding car. Makes me wonder if I should get an after-market exhaust?

Will my stock exhaust, when wound-out, sound that good too?

I have a tubi and hyperflows. I cannot stop driving, just to hear it. The sound is really, really nice. I will admit that it sounds even better in an open car following it.

 

wow, great compilation video... I do not believe that most of the exhaust systems in this clip were the stock, as it is quite weak imo.

When Tiff Nedell was in top gear, he made a review of the 355 around 1994-5. I have been looking for that video clip for years and years But it seems to have been lost in history Its the reveiw were at the end of it he drives of and then stops and reverses back to the camera and says "ya never thought i wasnt going to did you", and then proceded to cne that mother around the track

A great video for those that own or dream of owning a F355.

That said the clip of that 355 in the tunnel was insane (almost sounded like an air raid siren).

 

That comment by Clarkson about the 355 being the best car in the world...

he said the same thing about the 348............
