Any potential issues? I switched to a higher pressure cap and my initial findings are that my car keeps from getting hot MUCH better. I was just wondering everyone else's thoughts. Thanks for any input.

I should add, I also did a concurrent coolant flush and thermostat swap

If your radiator/hoses can handle the added pressure, why not?!

The higher pressure really only raises the temp of the boiling point of the water (3 degrees per lb.), I doubt it is having any other effect.
The one thing I would worry about is although the 328 has the best cooling system by far of all the 3+3.2 liter cars the one remaining weak link is the water pump seals and that cap just puts it under more pressure.

I did this to my GT4 after many years of trying to get it from overheating on trackdays.

Turned out that what was really the problem was that the original rad cap had lost all tension so the NEW rad cap just helped return the cooling system to normal . This may be the case with yours as a few years have gone under the bridge since these cars were made.

I had problems with my Mondy Qv rad/header cap, I got a new Stant Racing cap 22-24lb's really cheap but haven't fitted it yet, I presume that this is way to high for this car, also what problems will I have using it, does anyone know the highest I can go on this
