The 928 was absolutely mint! And was being driven by an Older Lady. Black Cadillac XLR along Roosevelt Rd. in Hillside headed Westbound around 7:30PM. Those cars are pretty cool, too.

After two days on the track with the top down and a sunburned scalp (which isn't protected by hair, I might add) with no hat, my top needed to be up. Gary (Silverstone F430 Spider; http://home.comcast.net/~drgary/F430Spider.html)
Beautiful car Gary, Spotted a red 348TB on Milwaukee ave in Wheeling yesterday round 10 am. Waved at the parade I was in of Bentleys and Ferrari. RocketBoy
Maybe because of the unstable forecast and if you have to park the car... Which reminds me of that silly Lexus commercial in the rain forest where the wipers get activated by a rain drop on the windshield (what for?). Does anybody know whether Ferraris (or other's) Spiders these day come with rain sensors? I mean it would make sense if the car detects a drop while being parked, that it would self close the roof, no?
Great idea, but I've never heard that implemented on a car before (auto closing the roof if rain is detected). Wonder why that is. Doing some research though, I found that Siemens filed a patent in 2002 to do something along these lines: http://patft1.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO1&Sect2=HITOFF&d=PALL&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsrchnum.htm&r=1&f=G&l=50&s1=6748308.PN.&OS=PN/6748308&RS=PN/6748308.
Spotted: Red Maranello parked at the Redstone Restaraunt on Butterfield Rd. in Oakbrook Terrace this evening around 7:30PM. Looking good!!!!....
It is such an obvious idea to me (and I believe it has been implemented with sun roofs) that I can only imagine lawsuits over some child/dog left behind in the car and then get accidentally decapitated by the system as the road block.

Hey. If you like Aston Martin, like I do. You must make the pilgrimage up to Lake Forest Sportscars. They have a great selection of New and Pre Driven Autos on hand. I really do like those cars. Sheer Exotic Elegance. The best of ALL worlds...
