Took a spin by Bentley-Maserati St. Louis last night to view the FXX they have on the floor. Absolutely brutal looking machine. Makes the F360 and Lambo on the floor look sort of forelone.

saw this thread and made it a point to go an hour out of my way to see it today. what an incredible machine. too bad it was somewhat spoiled by the d*ck sales people. I was pretty shocked to hear a local guy owned it, nice to hear it'll be a pretty permanent fix in STL.

I mucho agree on poor sales folks at Maser dealer in St Louis..how do they expect people to trade a MBZ or something on a Maser with"dick sales verbage and attitudes"? I dunno, just close up now, save the space for wetlands or something..

Besides those pics I posted above, I don't think there are any others. I will be taking a visit there Thursday, since I am in St. Louis for business.

I have some pics me and my buddy took of it but they are through the glass since we were there from 8 pm until 9:30 pm drooling on the glass. I'll try to remember to post some of them up here later today.

Well I figured it was pointless to post mine. I've got like 30-35 pics of it, but they are all about as good those camara phone ones, just a little clearer.

D*ck sales people? It sounds like you weren't there for sales to begin with......
My experiences @ MaserSTL have been outstanding, but then again I've never gone to waste other people's time & take pictures like it was a musuem.

Everyone's a potential customer. I went to Ferrari/Maserati CF with no intentions of buying a car and they showed me around the entire area, John Slimen there was a class act. Took at least an hour to show me the different Maserati and Ferrari's they had in stock, I left that day with a 2002 Maserati Spyder. Maybe you guys could learn something from your friends in CF.

I guess you live a different lifestyle than I do. I'm assuming I'm like most car lovers and will never have the chance to see something like that on a regular basis so of course I would take pictures. And if the car is not for sale but the dealer puts it right in the front window, I think they know they are going to get more than just customers to come in and look at it. I go in there every once in a while just to look and dream, I don't think I'm wasting anyones time since I don't bother anyone. If they ask me when I come in I just tell them that I'm here to dream so they don't have to take time out of thier day. And I have had nothing but good experiences with them also. I don't remember the guys name but I met one of the guys there at another dealer. He and I bought Evos at the same time so every time I came in there we would talk about our cars. He would take me in back to show what they were working on and what was stored.

J.J. Mills, Graham Hill and all the staff at Bentley-Maserati St. Louis have always been nice to me and I don't own any of the marques they sell. In fact my firm, AXA Advisors, is doing an event with our Speed World Challenge Porsche (sponsored by AXA and Porsche Motorsports North America) at their facility because neither of the local Porsche dealers have any interest. Go figure!

I went there once a couple of years ago and the sales people did not mind me coming in and taking pics. They were very friendly.

Exactly....take a look at some of the photos of the FXX. One of the saleman had the courtesy of taking the car out and letting people take pics although the car is not for sale.
I've been in similiar situations and it just bugs me that one person can have a supposed bad experince, call a sales staff "d*cks", all the while the only reason he was ever able to see it in the first place is because Bentley St.Louis had the courtesy to get the local client to display the car!!! They could have easily shoved it in the service bay.
I'm glad to hear all of the great stories. Tom Schultz and Kurtis Van Allen are class acts and shouldn't be smeared by a loser posting them as "d*cks".

These guys are good people and very down to earth. They have certainly treated me extremely well.

We use them at the shop for our Ferrari parts and they give us incredible service.

It can be difficult to work in an exotic dealership, you only get paid when you sell a car but so much of your time is spent being a tour guide. These guys enjoy having visitors, but be courteous, while they are visiting with a enthusiatic admirer, they might be inadvertanly ignoring the person who came in to actually buy a car.

These guys a real car people, not car salesmen.

Give them a chance, you would be hard pressed to find better friends.

I have a car on order with them now and they were extremely easy to work with.

sorry if this has been said already, but almost all of the major "car photos" web sites have good hi-res pics - not candids of course but still great pics, I tried to upload samples but but I guess they're too big and I don't feel like re-sizing them.

    ***************.com
    "Serious wheels"
    "Swiss Car Sightings"
    "Automotive Photography"
    "Desktop Machine"

All these sites have great pics for free. Forget about *************, they charge you to get things you can get for free elsewhere - otherwise you get just a handful of pics with any quality and a bunch of popup ads and garbage..

Hopefully this car actually gets track time. Although if it's stored at a Bentley dealer....who knows.
