I know its not the weekend,but i didnt want to pollute the spotters thread with pics of my car. I was bored yesterday afternoon and went for a spirited lap out on the old golf course road here. And i even stopped in for a game of golf. Well.......I actually dont play golf,that pic was purely for poser status.
But it was fun,as i said i had the biggest smile on my dial,as i reached speeds of up to 140km/h. I think i found new/quite area,that has a few up and down dips in the road and a few windy sections that i powered around that im in love with. I went up and down the road 4 times,having a great time. There was a woman walking that probably thought i was stalking her going past her 4 times in 1 hour

Well...........it is a weekend with Pap again. No girls and booze this weekend,as ive been hard at work doin nightshifts. Anyways,today,there is a classic car show here. A few old classic cars showed up and also a few newer cars(someone brought a new XR6Turbo for f*cks sake!!). Seems like a very good day to mingle around and have a look also. Not bad for $2 entry fee. The weather is sunny and great. Maybe just a little warm,but lovely QLD weather to say the least. There are maybe around 50 cars/vintage looking wooden wheel things and a few old trucks ect... And my 348 Here a few pics i took an hour ago.

 

That is a very very tidy 1964 E-Type Jag. With the gay PURRRR plates on it. Right up PP's alley I quite like that car. The old bloke who owned was dressed accordinly with a nice Jag shirt and Jag directors chairs propped up next to his pride and joy for him and his wife.

This some kind of Mini i suppose? There was no info on this car and the owner wasnt anywhere to be seen. But it was also very very tidy. People must lock these cars up,because you never see them driving around anywhere. Thats Urs,in the red shirt(show organiser)behind the Mini,chatting to my brother.

This is a 1951 Hudson Hornet. Totally original the owner reckons. An un-restored,low km's example. And it was very nice,with the exception of a few paint blemishes near the RHR of the car. But not too bad for 55 years old. I had a look in the back seat of the car,you could film a porno in there,thats how much room it had back there!!

Here is this thing again 2004 BMW Z4. The owner had a 1999 Z3,that he traded in to buy this one. Same colour as is old Z3. e paid $105K,new car,in late 2004

Here is a little project that a guy from my work,just completed. Based on a Clubman design?? F*cks me?? But its all hand made,no plans ect.... It has a tubular alloy/steel frame,disc brakes all round. He used a Holden Gemini gearbox and diff. Holden "red" 202 turbocharged engine. Makes around 300HP+. Weighs in around 600Kg he said. Power to weight is awesome! Has a Toyota ignition system ect.... Looks wild if you ask me! Not sure where he is goin to drive it yet..............

Here is a local car yard salesman's Ford Coupe. Forget what year it it sorry. Apparently has spent big dollars on getting the body and paint that smick. But...............the loser has fitted a Holden VN V6 engine What an idiot. The same can be said for the interior,lots of dollars spent on seats/trim ect....but it has a Holden VN dash customised to fit in there. It has really been shortened down to fit that dash. The rest of the car is immaculate. Just let everyone down the crap V6 engine. Alot of guys there,suggested a handful of engine combos that he should put in there. 302C,351C,302W,351W,blown 302/351C ect.... Cant fit a blown big block in there apparently/?? Make it fit damn you!!
