Been wanting to post this for a while just to get a comparison on the Tubi vs. X-OST. Here is my car straight pipes with a Tubi http://www.trackpedia.com/photos/348_tubi_nocats.wmv Nothing more than 4500 RPM unfortunately but if I get a chance tomorrow I will get a better one. The neighbors get a little mad with my constant screwing with the car and of course reving it at 9pm isnt good either. Honestly I cant really say which one I like more. The X-OST is a little harsher I think and a little more F1 car high pitched. The Tubi as in the video is a lot more bassy at idle and mid range RPMs. I think they are pretty much identical at full song. I have another vid I'll put up in a sec once I edit it that I finally got back from a friend today with the Ferrari at the track last year which gives you a good outside sound of her.
k...as promised here is me in action last year at BIR (http://www.trackpedia.com/wiki/Brainerd_International_Raceway). The first three passes are pretty much flat out 5000-8000 down the straight between 9-10. The last segment is a cool down lap at 3500-5000 but that 250GTB right behind me isnt cooling anything down. http://www.trackpedia.com/photos/348_turn9_at_BIR.wmv Click save as for the video if at all possible so I can save some bandwidth.
...and just an update from my end.... bank transfers to Italy are complete. X-OST's will be shipping to me by mid-week.
Daniel we are just going to have to meet up at VIR next year and compare in person. Maybe I will just have to buy a spare exhuast as well as I have accumulated basically a whole new car in parts in my garage.
Our next "private" track day at VIR is Nov 9 (Thursday). We have the "Full Course". Tell ya what... if you come from Minnesota, I'll cover your track fees.
I'll tell you what...let me see how the car holds up this summer as my last track day is Oct 1st. If at the end of the year it looks good you are on and I will make the trip to NC especially since its the full course!
