    Feb..Valentines Day...Flowers and something else, don't remember
    April.. her B-day, Another diamond
    May 14...NADA, Just a moooshy card!

    My eleven year old son arose at 6 am and rode his bike 2 blocks to the donut store. He bought 2 plain old fashioned donuts.
    He returned home and brewed a pot of coffee.
    He woke his mom up with a hug after placing the coffee, donuts and the newspaper on the nightstand.

    After that performance, I was off the hook :D

    It did not cost me a thing. It was his idea. Sat night he asked for permission to go down to the shop. I said yes, and just sat back and let it all happen.

    My boys are now old enough to take care of the Mom's day duties.


    Later in the day we had both my wifes and my parents over for a late lunch.
    I grilled the pork tenderloins and opened the champagne bottles. :D

    2 diamonds a year! How long have you two been together? She must have a lot of diamonds. Of course, a lady could never have enough diamonds (who said that?)

    My kids gave her some craft type stuff and some cards (store bought Mother's Day cards are not allowed to be bought by our kids). I do not participate in aiding the Hallmark holidays, nor do I encourage any Father's day gifts / cards.
