I need help. There was a thread or many by an artist who did pen and ink(looked like to me) commissions of Ferrari's for people on this chat. He would update often and show progress, The last one I saw was about a black 430. I think he is about as talented as it gets and I lost track of the bookmark. Can anyone help out? He would make a collage of different views.

Thanks a lot for the nice words, I'm truly honoured! :)

The thread with the drawing you are looking for certainly sounds like the one I'm in the process of doing for Todd Arnold!
However, I have been extremely busy lately with some drawings for the seven time Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen, to be delivered to Tom at this year's Le Mans 24 hours on the 17th of June, so It has been a while since the thread with Todd's car has last been updated! New updates will come in the near future!

The thread is located in the Showroom section at this link: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=85054

    Best regards

    Carsten

Thanks very much. I am a photojournalist, and while some call photography art I always wanted to be able to draw and paint. I feel I can do a great job of capturing people, I shoot a lot of longterm photo essays on crime, drug dealing, the plight of the inner city etc, when it comes to innanimate objects like cars it is very rare to see an image that ignites the soul the way yours do. I am stuck with the light, yeah I can alter it and add or subtract, but you can actually create it. I really envy that. I have a 12 year old son who not only has become quite a photographer, but has been drawing and painting since he was very little. I have photographed my 79 308 extensively, but I am trying to get him to draw and paint the car . He likes to do very technical works. Maybe he someday will have the skill to do work like yours.
Thanks again I love your work.-Bob
