    For the first time ever, I'm beginning to receive spam on my home email. Five or six a day, all the same, telling me to buy some b***s*** penny stock or other. Do they really think this is gonna work?!

    Anyway, would someone kindly recommend a good software I can download to eliminate all this crapola?

    I use Mailwasher and it does a credible job. It misses some (those bastards misspell Viagra in hundreds of ways), but all in all, it's a good program. It sits in front of your email client and has the ability to blacklist and bounce unwanted spam off of the server before it gets to your email client. You can block entire domains and you can create a friends list that is automatically sent through.
