That's fuse boxes has been a major bug for the 308 for a long time... I'm glad someone finally step up to it......... I'm ordering mine.
Thanks Firdman. Arron, your title works....

What year is yours? On my '79, I believe I had (6) 25A fuses per my covers.

I think it was as follows:

    (8) 8A
    (4) 16A
    (6) 25A

That adds up to 18, so I believe that's what they were....lemme go grab the covers.

My 25A fuses went to the following locations:

    - Heater
    - Right Window
    - Left Window
    - Horns-Lighter-Clock-Key Buzzer (?!)
    - Right Radiator Fan
    - Left Radiator Fan

Those came straight from my OEM covers...

85QV. same quantity, different breakdown. my cover shows 7 of the
8s and 11 16s. i'm using 7.5 in place of the 8s and 15 rather than the 16s. ahh the mysteries of the elusive electron.

Those fuses should be just fine... If anything, they're safer.

This may sound crazy, but to OP, I'd edit this title if you are able to. I just googled "birdman 308", as I am following his instructions on shock swaps, and this was one of the first results. Someone's first impression of his work could be that google result. I'd hate for an innocuous joke in this thread title to inadvertently nuke his good name....

I mean, it's old hat on here, sure. But the thread title itself is still literally the 2nd result on a google search for "Birdman 308".... hey, I'm just lookin' out for the guys' business interest, that's all...

I TOTALLY agree that the title is completely inappropriate, regardless how old it is...

    Totally inappropriate title.

Why say "don't buy" when you really mean "buy"?

    Fix it now please!

I've not been here for almost 8 months and when I saw this thread I thought "Eh? What? Why?" I think a thread title name change. Just because most regular on here know what it is about it does not come across if aren't. If it is coming up on internet search engines then really it should be changed.
