Etienne, cette F40 qui se trouve chez Bardinon, ne serait-elle pas celle que J Laffite a piloter un jour à "Turbo" dont j'ai conservé l'essais extraodinaire.
il avit mis en parallèle F40 et F40 LM

    Hi

First time poster on Ferrarichat.com. I took this shot at the 2004 Concorso Italiano in Monterey California. The car had extra ground effects as a hill climb car would. Sorry I did not get the serial number. For people outside the USA who might not know, the badge on the car is from a Ford Bronco SUV.

This is the only other picture I took of the car. I remember it had an unusual shifter knob - a clear plastic ball with a spider in it. Perhaps someone here might know it.

sorry to say, but the logo looks photoshop'd on ??

not making any remarks, just asking if that was the case, I would have loved to run with another F40.

Looks to me like they by-passed the normal cold air feed to the turbo inlets for combustion O2. Instead using hot air from engine compartment.

Can't believe that is a good idea...

May work OK on a dyno at standstill with engine cover off, but at speed ram effect cold air must be an advantage.
