Last time I spoke to Kim Richey she was shopping there......there's a pretty wide spectrum of properties, from duplex, to small apartmants to single family..

It's part of Austin. Hyde Park is just the name of the neighborhood. The zip code should be 78751 and/or 78705. Possibly 78752 also.

I know a few people in Dallas who do well buying houses on the foreclosure market. Fixing them up, and renting them out. They do a lot of the work themselves in order to save some $ in the renovations. Seems like the single family home rentals do well in Dallas. There are a lot of deplexes, but from what I have read and heard from other is that single family homes do much better than duplexes.

man i think i just need to plan a trip down there to check it out. all the homes I found on there were around 400k for a tiny little shack. I dont mind if its old, but it has to be big! I have thought about Dallas, but I would like to stick to cities that are smaller, I think thats where my market is at.

Round Rock, Texas, Near Lake Travis, all Round Rock is known for is Dell, and near 620 it's been alot of construction, I'm betting that people are waiting for the land to develop and then they will sell for a hefty amount of money.
