I'd prefer the 997 GT3, seems like a more "exciting" car.....there are a couple of videos of one being driven (by a maniac) on some twisties in Germany - AMAZING!!!

When are the 997TT's arriving here?

996GT3 spanks a 996TT on the track, same will happen with 997. GT3 is the must have car.
Still, I think I'd prefer a worked over 360CS, or wait for 430CS.
Has anyone done a suspension/steering upgrade to the Gallardo yet, to make it less antiseptic? That would be a cool alternative too.

Yasmin did most of the driving in her M3.

Sexy lambo pic from the dark side. Would you prefer a 997TT to this?

Horses for courses, I love it. Just can't stand the driving feel of the car, unfortunately.

If your goin to spend over 300K on a Porker, you might as well spend another 100K on the Lambo, or buy a 2004/5 model and hot it up like the car in the pic for less than the cost of a new 997TT.

No such luck, just the standard car. I bought the black ex Motor COTY test car, but returned it after a few days because it just didn't have the feel of the Ferrari. The fact that I struggeld getting into the underground car park at my office didn't help either. I know the Gallardo is better handling/faster sexier looking etc etc than the 550, but the G car just didn't do it for me. Hence my previous comment about suspension and steering upgrades.

Well, alas, I can't even comment on that at this stage.

I know, what is it with aussie reporters and losing licence  you can loose your licence in practically any car sold in Oz haha.

Its a very nice car, I like what they did with the lights at the front, I dont like the look of the new GT3.

I think the widebody kit was quoted on LP.com at $50k US.

    ...back to the Turbo...

This video makes Top Gear look like a metal concert. There is not one shred of excitement in his voice. But I'll take one any day :)

I generally am not a big fan of the G, it just doesnt float my boat, however that one seriously is making me drool, that is a seriously hot piece of kit.
